About This Program
The Doctor of Philosophy in African American Ministry acquaints the student with a broad perspective of African American Ministry through doctoral-level coursework and an original dissertation.
The program consists of six courses (30 hours) and a dissertation (20 hours). A 60–150 page dissertation is required.
Note: Students may complete one degree program in African American Ministry. If a Master of Arts in African American Ministry has been completed, the student is not eligible for this doctoral program.
Prerequisite: An earned Master's degree from an approved educational institution.
