How to Submit Your Work

Guidelines and requirements for submitting assignments at Fellowship Theological Seminary.

General Requirements

  • Submit in Microsoft Word format — PDF/Protected View not acceptable.
  • Double-spaced, Times New Roman font, size 11–12, 1-inch margins.
  • Include page numbers and a completed Assignment Data Form.
  • Include a title page (does not count toward minimum length).
  • Email all assignments to ceo@Seminary.fellowship-us.org.
  • Attach as a single Word document — do not send multiple files.

Submission Types

Textbook Summary10–20 pages
  • Begin with an introductory paragraph.
  • Summarize the content in your own words — plagiarism will not be tolerated.
  • Include what was learned and how it applies to your life/ministry.
  • Briefly summarize each chapter as reviewed.
  • Review and revise before submission.
Chapter Summary4–6 pages
  • Begin with an introductory paragraph.
  • Summarize the course content in your own words.
  • Include what was learned and how it applies to your life/ministry.
  • Submit after first summary receives passing grade.
Christian Counseling Verbatim1–3 pages
  • Word-for-word reports of actual counseling/ministry dialogue sessions.
  • May cover hospital visits, nursing home visits, church conversations.
  • Begin with a paragraph describing the setting.
  • Conclude with your perception of the result.
Missions & Evangelism Verbatim1–3 pages
  • Word-for-word reports of missions, evangelism, or church growth experiences.
  • Includes witnessing, small group building, outreach programs.
  • Begin with the setting description.
  • Conclude with your perception of results.
Dissertation60–150 pages
  • Include table of contents and bibliography with at least 20 references.
  • Introduce the theme, then research in detail.
  • Include footnotes and research notes numerically.
  • All coursework and verbatims must be submitted before dissertation.
  • Theme idea may be submitted for approval early.
Ministry Project (D.Min.)30–50 pages
  • Submit theme/project idea for approval first.
  • Describe reason, plan, and execution of your ministry project.
  • Report results, learnings, numbers, and statistics.
  • Examples: small group program, counseling ministry, sermon series.
  • Submit only after all coursework has passed.
Writing Tips

• Do not refer to the author by first name only — use full name first, then last name throughout.

• Do not copy from the textbook without clear quotation marks and page references.

• Clearly distinguish the author's thoughts from your own and from other sources.

• Provide book, chapter, and verse for Bible references and note the translation used.

• Proofread carefully before submission — it's better to delay a day or two than submit with errors.

• Use actual Bible translations (not paraphrases) for primary Scripture references.

• Use A.D. before dates and B.C. after dates (e.g., A.D. 79, 44 B.C.).
