Master of Arts in Christian Emergency Response

Preparing students to lead their church and community in times of crisis. 8 courses + Crisis Management Project, 45 hours.

About This Program

The Master of Arts in Christian Emergency Response prepares students to lead their church and community in times of crisis. Disasters, emergencies, and terroristic activities threaten our communities — this program equips Christians to respond.

The program consists of eight courses (40 hours) plus a Crisis Management Plan Project Paper (5 hours). Once a textbook is read, a 10 to 20 page paper must be submitted.

Electives may only be chosen from core textbooks and core seminars from Biblical Studies, Ministry, Christian Counseling or Pastoral Leadership degree program pages.

A 10–15 page Crisis Management Plan for a local church is required as part of the program.
